We are currently hiring for the following positions:
  • Bragg Mutual is on the lookout for people who love helping and talking to people to join our team as a Teller in multiple locations.
  • We want you to be on the front lines developing relationships and providing high quality service to our credit union members.

Qualifications:

  • A passion for service excellence.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confidence in promoting appropriate products and services.
  • Applicants are required to have a high school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1–2 years of cash handling and balancing experience.
  • Consumer loan officer position at main office on Village drive. This is an in-office position only, no hybrid employment will be considered. Loan officers are required to meet members, cross-sell, and gain trust. We expect loan officers to be active in community to bring in new business for both deposits as well as loans. A candidate’s proven track record of success to grow assets and keep collections low would be the ideal person. The ability to understand how we use AI help approve loans for automobiles and Home Equity is required. Learning to ask for business is a sales skill in high demand at this credit union.

  • The role of this position is to grow the deposits and loans of the branch, while developing new relationships with existing and new members. As always a branch manager is required to fill many roles within the branch and every position from teller to manager. The manager is responsible for the growth of members as well as assets. 
  • We expect our employees to be self-starters able to start and finish a job without too much instruction from next level management. We expect loans, deposits and new memberships to be accurately processed and completed. Follow-up with members to close a loan is essential in today's challenging loan environment where speed of closing is a top priority. Compliance with all regulations is without question a priority. 
  • The Operations Manager reports directly to the COO and supports the credit union’s growth by strengthening back-office operations and improving service to members and staff. Management team members regularly take on responsibilities beyond their original roles. This position will focus primarily on operations, an area that is performing well but needs additional staffing. Additional responsibilities may include card services, secondary product integrations, regulatory matters, employee training, audits, and examination support. The primary function of this role is to assist the COO with day-to-day workload.
  • This is a new position for a growing credit union. We are looking for an experienced person to handle a wide variety of card services and payment options. The candidate must be familiar with new technology for payment rails and services, but also membership to resolve issues arising from card issues or disputes. Candidates should be familiar with remediation strategies to resolve fraud and negative share balances. Candidates should be familiar with all regulations and train employees as regs change, while working with branch personnel to resolve issues.

  • Assists in the coordination and execution of the credit union's social media, marketing, communications, and public relations. 

    This position requires an optimistic, positive attitude to spread the good word of our credit union into the communities we serve. The Candidate will work with our outsourced marketing service to deliver local content at the branches, and venues. We offer several financial wellness programs including various seminars on buying homes and cars. 

    Incumbent is required to know and understand NCUA marketing regs or have the ability to acquire the knowledge shortly after becoming employed. Incumbent is expected to know or learn all NCUA regs, especially Bank Secrecy Act, and all deposit based regs.
